CES is over, time to return to a normal world again

Well, I guess normal would depend on your definition of normal. For me its about hacking my work schedule and maximizing the time I spend working, and generally not working all day long. Like I previously mentioned, I am a professional blogger because it allows for freedom and flexibility of my schedule.
That said, during the week I spend in Las Vegas for CES all the rules go out the window and I generally work longer than I ever would at home. Today is Wednesday and that means I have been home from CES for almost three days now and I am just now feeling like normal again. I guess you could say CES really takes its toll on me, it is a very busy week for tech bloggers. There is plenty to write about, lots of meetings and even more walking. And all of this is generally done with all your gear in a laptop bag so you can be ready to write wherever and whenever.
I guess you can say that I love going to and covering CES, but I am ever happier when its over and I can return home. It feels nice to be back and getting back to my routine.
I did want to thank a few people for making CES happen and also for making it easier when I was there.
First off I went with Gadgetell so without them I would not have been able to go in the first place. They take good care of us when we are there, making sure we get to Vegas, get from the airport to the hotel and have a place to stay and eat. Bottom line, without them I could not make the journey. Of course, it goes without saying that the whole Gadgetell team is great, it is fun to be able to work side by side with them, as opposed to over email and Skype.
Second, I wanted to thank another group — CntrStg. They had set up a very nice area for bloggers. They were set up at the Wynn and had a full suite that included a lounge, central party/meetup area, a work room and a bathroom. Not to mention the food as well as the fast and reliable internet connection. Personally, I spent a good amount of time tucked away in the work room, and of course munching on some food and drinks.
So, I am now back from my trip, and looking forward to get back into my normal swing. That will, of course include some writing here.
